RAS BARSE UTSAV FESTIVAL
Tansen Academy of Music (TAAN), has founded Ras Barse Utsav, The annual concert in the memory of late Shehnai maestro's Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan saheb and tribute to Shehnai Samrat Pandit Sanna Bharamanna Gawai.

The Ras Barse Utsav was conceived as an annual tribute concert in 2015, the Centennial birth anniversary of Ustad Bismillah Khan, concert was graced by Padma Vibushan Balamurali Krishna as the Chief Guest and Smt. Vani Jayaram as the Guest of Honour. Distinguished classical musicians from across the country will be conferred awards like the Ustad Bismillah Khan Memorial Puraskar, the Ustad Bismillah Khan Gaurav Puraskar and the Yuva Kala Puraskar during the event.
